I think Obama could get away with Clinton as VP now. There's been enough distance from the "end" of the primaries till now. It will seem like a thoroughly investigated decision.
I even feel OK with this, which is I guess why I'm offering this opinion. I don't relish the Clintons in the WH again, and I have other reasons for disliking Hillary for pres, but as Veep, I think it might go over OK.
But it's probably someone else that will be thoroughly boring, and we'll over analyze the "Real" reasons he/she was chosen.
